How can I make a reservation?
You can make your reservation through our website. If you become a member of The Qlub, you'll enjoy an exclusive discount. You can also call our reservations department or reception directly, where we'll be happy to assist you.
Can I modify or cancel my reservation?
If your reservation is flexible and is still within the cancelable period, you can easily modify it using your booking tracking number through the same intermediary you made it with, either our website or platforms like Booking. If your reservation is non-refundable or falls outside the permitted period, you'll need to make a special request through the relevant intermediary.
Can I book by phone or only online?
You can book online or by phone. For the Hotel Tarifa Lances, please call 956 68 12 36.
Do you offer refundable and non-refundable rates?
Yes, we have flexible and non-refundable rates. Non-refundable rates are generally more affordable, but require full payment at the time of booking and do not allow free changes or cancellations (with some exceptions). Flexible reservations can be changed or canceled free of charge up to one week before arrival. For example, if your check-in is on July 9th, you have until July 1st at 11:59 PM to make changes. After this time, the first night's stay for each room reserved will be automatically charged.
Can I make a reservation without a credit card?
No, we require a debit/credit card as a guarantee. For flexible rates, the first night will be charged to the card you provided.
Is it possible to book connecting rooms?
Yes, we have connecting rooms in the Standard category, although they are subject to availability. Please indicate your request in the comments when booking. Although we cannot guarantee it, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Can I make a reservation for a long stay?
If you have difficulty booking through our website, please do not hesitate to contact our reservations team or reception.
Can I make a reservation for someone else?
Of course. You can indicate the name of the person staying in the reservation comments, or make the reservation directly in their name.
Can I pay upon arrival or do I have to pay in advance?
Non-refundable reservations must be paid in full prior to arrival. For flexible reservations, the first night's deposit will be charged one week prior to arrival. The remainder can be paid upon arrival.
Are there children's menu options with half board?
Yes, the restaurant has several dishes for the children's menu.
Is there an option for a double bed or two single beds?
Yes, the hotel has rooms with double or single beds, except for the Ocean View, Premium Ocean View, and Junior Suite categories, which always have double beds. Bed requests are taken but cannot be guaranteed as they are subject to availability.
Can I reserve a parking space in advance?
No, parking cannot be reserved in advance as it is subject to daily availability.
I received an email informing me that a payment error occurred. What should I do?
The card you provided when making your reservation has probably been declined. Reception will contact you to arrange payment for your reservation.
Is there street parking near the hotel?
Yes, in any area that does not have a yellow line you can park for free and it is a very safe area.
What are the half-board meal times?
Breakfast is from 8 to 11 a.m. and dinner is from 8 to 10:30 p.m. (depending on the season)
What does half board include?
Half-board includes breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is buffet-style, and dinner is à la carte, using a credit system. Each adult receives €25 daily to spend on the restaurant menu, excluding drinks. If the amount exceeds €50 (for two adults), the remainder will be automatically charged to your room.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 12:00 p.m. If you wish to check out later, please inquire at reception on the morning of your departure. We will confirm availability and inform you of any additional costs.
Is there public transportation near the hotel?
The hotel is located near the Tarifa bus station, or you can call a taxi at reception, which usually doesn't take long to arrive.
Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Yes, you can leave your car in the garage for several days. You can arrange this through our reception desk.
What type of breakfast do you offer? (buffet, continental, Ă la carte)
Breakfast is buffet style.
What documentation do I need to check in?
The documentation required for check-in is regulated by Spanish law. You must present a valid DNI (National Identity Document), NIE (Foreigner Identification Number), passport, or identity card (including those for minors).
Do you provide pool/beach towels?
Yes, the hotel provides pool towels. Towels are subject to a coin exchange system, which will be given to you upon check-in if you need them.

Do children stay free?
Children under 3 years old stay free, those over 3 years old have an additional cost of 25% of the total reservation.

How much does the Spa cap cost?
The wellness area cap costs €3. Remember that access to the wellness area costs extra in addition to the cap.

What is your cancellation policy?
Flexible rate reservations can modify or cancel their reservation free of charge 7 days before arrival. Non-refundable reservations cannot be modified or canceled free of charge at any time.

Can I request an invoice?

Only dogs weighing less than 12 kg are accepted, and only in standard rooms on the ground floor. Dogs must be vaccinated and microchipped, and incur an additional charge of €30 per night. Is the parking lot close to the hotel entrance?
Yes, the parking lot is located right behind the main avenue.
Are there non-smoking rooms?
No, smoking is not allowed in the hotel, so we do not have non-smoking rooms either.

Yes, the hotel has a luggage storage facility where you can store your luggage while you wait for your room to be ready.
Where are the meals included in the boarding service served?

Yes, the hotel has a restaurant which is open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM and it is not necessary to reserve a table in case you want to eat at the restaurant.

It depends on your reservation, if your reservation is only accommodation it does not include breakfast

Do you have laundry service?
Yes, the hotel offers a laundry service. There is a plastic bag with the prices in your room closet. Once you have filled the bag and filled out the request form, please return it to reception. Your clean clothes will be delivered to your room within 24 hours.
Is it possible to hire full board?
No, the hotel only offers half board.
Do you have Wi-Fi? Is it free?
Yes, the hotel has free Wi-Fi, no password required. At reception they will tell you the name of the network and how to connect.
Is parking free or does it have an additional cost?
Parking has an additional cost of €15 per night.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, the hotel has a children's menu. You can view the restaurant menu on the website.
Do the rooms have a minibar/coffee maker/hairdryer?
Rooms feature a minibar, the contents of which are included in the room rate (first refill only). A hairdryer is included.
Do you offer airport shuttle service?

Can I leave my car in the parking lot after check-out?
Yes, you can leave your car in the garage for several days. You can arrange this through our reception desk.

Is there a pool?
Yes, the hotel has three swimming pools. The main pool is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the infinity pool on the 4th floor is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and the heated spa pool is open for an additional fee and requires a reservation.
Can I bring my cat?
No, only dogs are allowed.

No, the hotel does not offer this service.
Do you have a gym or spa?
Yes, the hotel has a small workout room on the first floor, open 24 hours a day and free of charge. The spa is also located on the first floor and has its own reception desk. They can provide more information there. This is an external company, with variable opening hours and an additional charge.

The parking is underground; the garage entrance accepts cars up to 2.63 m high.
Does the hotel have charging stations for electric vehicles?
The Tarifa Lances Hotel garage does not have an electric charging station, but the Event Hotel, a hotel belonging to the same chain, right next door, does offer this service.
Can I still get breakfast if I have to leave very early?
If you cannot have breakfast during the normal hours of 8 to 11, you can request a picnic, just let reception know the day before before 9 p.m.

The view from your room will depend on the category you book. Standard rooms overlook the main avenue or the side of the hotel.

The hotel has an underground car park, which costs €15 per night. Reservations are subject to availability and cannot be made in advance. If you'd like to park your car in the garage, please inform reception upon check-in, and they will provide your room key to open the garage. Free parking is available in the areas surrounding the hotel where there are no yellow lines. This is a safe area.
Do you offer takeout breakfast?
If you are unable to attend the buffet breakfast, you can order a packed picnic. However, you must inform reception before 9 p.m. the day before so that the picnic can be arranged.
